Transverse roof rack

The transverse roof rack is a practical addition for all ŠKODA Yeti owners who require extra capacity over and above that offered by the generously proportioned luggage compartment when the rear seats have been removed. Thanks to its quality, proven reliability and ease of use, it is easy to see why this is considered the best solution for transporting bulky items (e.g. sports equipment). It is very easy to secure the transverse roof rack with the fastening screws (these are screwed into the holes in the roof rails): Simply flip the eccentric lever down and you’re done. The rack is lockable, thereby deterring any thieves. The T-slot allows other practical, reliable, lockable transportation systems such as bike racks, ski racks, ski and snowboard boxes, luggage baskets, etc., to be fitted to the roof rack. The roof rack is subjected to rigorous testing for water resistance, corrosion resistance and durability. It also undergoes the City Crash Test (test method for transportation systems) to ensure that it is both strong and durable. The transverse roof rack’s load capacity depends on the vehicle’s maximum permissible roof load (including rack). This can be found in the vehicle’s documentation.
