With Alexa built-in, your Nextbase 522GW gives you the capability to to play music, place calls, listen to audiobooks, hear the news, check the weather, control smart home devices, get directions, find parking, and more all while you keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.

The 522GW’s Polarising Filter uses an in-built polarising filter to dramatically reduce windscreen glare. This helps to record clearer images in direct sunlight and produce enhanced recordings.
In addition, this dash cam has an Autosync function which is a brand-new feature added to automatically send crash files directly to the users Bluetooth enabled phone. Using Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy technology, your latest video files are automatically sent to your smartphone. These two files (High and Low resolution) allow you to view the videos quickly whilst having the full high quality file to zoom in on number plate detail. Once on your phone it is quick and easy to edit and share your footage straight to your insurer using the MyNextbase Connect App on Android and iOS.

Nextbase Emergency SOS is the world’s first dash cam with emergency response. In the event of an accident, the Nextbase Emergency SOS can alert the emergency services to your location. When an incident is detected the Emergency SOS system will ring your phone to ensure you are ok. If the phone remains still or is answered then the emergency alert is sent. The alert sends crucial medical data such as blood type and medical history to paramedics to aid efficient treatment and uploads GPS position to help locate your vehicle faster.
Furthermore, it features a new high precision G sensor and higher accuracy 10x speed GPS module to give improved speed and location readings in ensuring important footage is protected. The Intelligent Parking Mode knows the difference between normal driving and being parked. Record any bump or physical movement on the vehicle when left unattended.

It also features the new MyNextbase Cloud storage for a safe and secure video storage system – sign up is required.

Due this being multi-brand product and compatible to fit multiple vehicle, as a general guide, a fitting time of 50 time units for front only 100 time units for front and rear, however this may differ from vehicle to vehicle.
